Laura Waldron has been Programme Manager for Climate Change at Newport City Council since January 2023. She manages a team who deliver EV charging projects across the City, with a particular focus on on-street and destination charging. This year they are delivering nearly 300 on-street charge points across nearly 200 locations. Her team also support with internal decarbonisation projects, including fleet transition, and city-wide projects such as business and community building decarbonisation and engagement with local residents and environmental groups.
