Event details
In this webinar, we bring together the Believ team alongside local authority partners and industry experts to explore the resident engagement and behavioural challenges that shape the success of on‑street EV charging. Drawing on experience from projects across the UK, we’ll examine how councils and charge point operators can work together to build understanding, trust and long‑term community support for public charging infrastructure.
The panel will share practical lessons from the ground, including how to address common resident concerns, manage competing demands for kerbside space, reduce opposition and misuse, and encourage positive charging behaviours. We’ll discuss what effective engagement looks like at different stages of delivery – from site selection and consultation through to operation – and how clear communication, data and responsiveness can improve outcomes for all.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn from peers and experts about turning behavioural challenges into opportunities, ensuring on‑street EV charging is well‑used, well‑understood and delivers lasting value for residents and local authorities alike.
