Event details

This webinar aims to provide an in-depth guide towards EV charging infrastructure that leaves no one behind. The panel of experts and local authorities will discuss why having an EV charging strategy is essential for every local authority, the common themes every local authority should explore, and what other elements will make an EV strategy unique to you.

According to our latest Local Authority Insight Report, a third of local authorities have no formal EV infrastructure plan in place, and in the North of England the number rises to 40%. Last year, 20% of respondents in the report hoped to have fully rolled out a local charging infrastructure by now. This updated survey finds none have, and only 13% expect rollout within the next 12 months. It's now more important than ever that local authorities are given all the insights, tools and resources they need to start their EV journey.

In the fifth webinar of our series, "EV Charging site selection and delivery: what local authorities and industry experts recommend", we'll be discussing everything you need to know about working together with charge point operators to identify the optimal sites for EV charging, the types of hardware on offer, the variations between types of locations, common barriers to delivery - and more.

Join the live webinar at 2pm on Wednesday 18th September to hear expert insight, advise and dos and don'ts from local authorities and industry professionals, chat with other audience members and have your questions answered live.
